A samurai inspired nft art collection commemorating music artists from the state of Michigan.
Dojo Deck is a “Street Samurai” styled art collection in the form of collectible trading cards commemorating music artists from the rap underdog state of Michigan.
Michigan is home to the some of the most unique and under rated hip hop artists in the game, from more familiar names like Big Sean or Eminem to underground legends like Blade Icewood or Payroll Giovanni. Michigan is a ticking time bomb on the world stage for the music scene, slowly making its presence known throughout the years. This project was designed to honor those artists who have left their handcrafted legacy at the heart of the state's music culture, influencing the sound for decades to come.
Each artist belongs to 1 of 4 elemental clans
Water, Earth, Fire and Air.
Each artist has
5 Bronze edition cards,
3 golD edition Cards and
1 Diamond edition Card
Dojo Deck is a project uniquely commemorating Michigan's music culture and introducing it to the world of NFTs.
-There are 68 Warriors in the initial launch of Dojo Deck. 1 warrior from each elemental clan will be revealed each day with 9 editions per warrior making 612 NFTs to collect. All Bronze, Gold and Diamond cards will be available under its own smart contract, so it will appear on multiple marketplaces.
-To Mint an NFT simply click the "Mint button" on this landing page to access the minting page with your Metamask Wallet. Collectors may mint up to 10 Cards at a time at random. Randomizing card selection will give an equal opportunity for all to fairly collect and trade cards they want.
- A Discord community has been formed for community engagement, opening communication for trading Dojo Deck cards, michigan rap dialogue, and Web 3/Metaverse/NFT news.
- 1 bronze card will be withheld from public acquisition so that the artist commemorated may claim their own official Dojo Deck card.
- Upon release, a bronze Dojo Deck NFT will be given away for free at the end of each day for the reveal of on social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok etc.). The giveaway will last for 17 days as 4 elements will be revealed a day with 68 warriors.
To earn a free Dojo Deck NFT one must:
1.) Follow @mr.senseiwoods and @dojodeck
2.) Tag 1 friend and the artist featured.
3.) Comment your favorite song by them.
4.) Join the Meta Dojo Discord community to stay updated on all upcoming giveaways, events and collaborations.
- All future giveaways will be conducted in the discord for members to claim first before the general public.
-After all 612 first generation Dojo Deck NFTs are collected, we
are planning to release a physical copy of Dojo Deck. Each artist and collector will get their own Dojo Card.
-Creating more Dojo Deck warriors to add to the current collection.
-Community engagements, giveaways, and more integration into the metaverse as we learn about it and expand.
Each NFT is individually designed from the warriors to the card detail. There are a total of 9 limited edition cards per warrior.
What up doe, I'm Sensei Woods, a Detroit born and raised photographer, director, graphic designer and animator. My digital art journey began in 2015 with the passing of my father who's last words to me were to "See Life". Internalizing this, I picked up and fell in love with the art of capturing and editing digital photos. This was the start of recognizing my range of talent as a digital artist.
After 7 years of working diligently with some of the biggest underground music artists in Michigan on photography, album cover art, music videos etc. , I've graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Media Information from Michigan State University. Continuing my digital art journey, I wanted to find a way to highlight my city's hip hop scene in the metaverse, as music is one of the biggest influences to the culture here.
Heavily inspired by watching animes like Naruto and playing card games like Pokemon growing up, I created Dojo Deck combining my passions for creative design, Michigan culture, and ninja warriors.
Detroit, and all of Michigan, is home to raw unique talent deserving of exposure. Utilizing my samurai art aesthetic, I want to give my home and the people who appreciate the culture a chance to involve themselves in and enjoy the
Michigan Metaverse together with my NFTs.
